"I f**ked up. What do I do now?" 🤯

+ 5 Community Wins 🙌🏼

👀“I f**ked up”👀

Can we all normalise f**king up our budget? Sometimes things don’t go to plan, unexpected things come up that we weren’t prepared for. Sure you may have an emergency fund or can move money from another savings pot but even then it can feel like your budget feels messed up for good.

What if we told you that this is completely normal and even the savviest of budgeters in our community f up there budget from time to time. Holly from Financielle HQ is the first to put her hands up and admit her July budget hasn’t gone to plan.

“For one reason or another my meticulously planned budget has gone out the window this month. It’s really frustrating but I’m trying not to beat myself up about it and most importantly not let my spending get out of control as we head towards the end of the month. There is always an opportunity to bring your budget back and get back in control. This is where a money minute really comes in handy”.

5 Community wins 🙌🏼

There’s nothing we love more than hearing our community win at life, so we thought what better to do on a Monday than share the love. Here are 5 of our favourite community wins that we’ve been blessed with recently.

Laura’s hot take 🔥

“Money doesn’t give you happiness; money gives you options. I think it helps give you more freedom, but happiness comes from within you as a person,”

An infamous UK reality TV star has talked about her journey from Bankruptcy to Millionaire status with the help of her popular Only Fans account. I really resonated with her thoughts around money giving you freedom but not happiness.

When navigating a money journey it’s easy to think that the pot at the end of the rainbow will fix all of your problems or that there is an end to the journey. I’ve been working on myself and money journey for 10+ years now and being financially well has gifted me options and freedom that I wouldn’t have had before I got my money sh*t together. I was able to leave a secure and well paid job to build Financielle, I started to invest in my health and wellbeing and have never felt physically better, I’ve even started Angel Investing to support businesses I believe will make the world a better place.

So it’s true, money can give you options but it can’t bring you happiness, that’s a whole other journey we need to embark on.

I’ll never not have an emergency fund 🚨
