Have your cake...🍰
+ Who's the money geek? 🤓
Have your cake and eat it too.
For years budgeting has been positioned as something that’s restrictive, boring and can stop us living the life we love.
Financielle’s calling BS on this!
Budgets can be empowering, freeing even sexy… yes sexy! We’ve got the tools to help you create a budget you can finally stick to without compromising on the things that bring you joy.
Women are sometimes positioned as ditsy, clumsy shopaholics that don’t care about our personal finances but that’s just not the case and we can prove it.
We have an army of women smashing big money goals and breaking gender stereotypes when it comes to money. Our premium members even managed to close the gender pay gap in 2022 by over ÂŁ1m!
If you want to have your cake and eat it too, it’s time to create your budget.

Who’s the money geek?
Some people are triggered when talking about money, bills and debts. Burying their head in the sand feels more comfortable then addressing any money issues head on. This can be learned behaviour from childhood, confidence when it comes to money and maths or just feeling overwhelmed by making financial decisions.
We all dream of splitting every responsibility in the household 50/50 but this isn’t realistic, so it’s important to lean into our strengths and abilities - this doesn’t mean passing off all financial control to the other. It’s important to have some understanding of what’s coming in and going out each month and what money goals you may be working towards together.
There’s one in every relationship and…spoiler alert - that’s ok! There are so many money personality types and they can often fluctuate and change dependent on what’s going on in our lives. It’s important to keep the lines of communication open when it comes to money.
To combat any internal friction when it comes to money may we suggest planning a money date night? This gives couples the chance each month to sit down and work through a budget together.
You don’t need to be in a couple to enjoy the benefits of a Money Date night, you can do this with room mates, best friends even your siblings or parents. Think of them as your very own accountability partner.
